On the occasion of Salesforce AppExchange celebrating its 10th Birthday, Milind Katti, CEO at DemandFarm shares the inimitable experience of DemandFarm’s partnership with AppExchange, while taking the opportunity to thank Salesforce for enabling various businesses.

DemandFarm is a specialized B2B tool to identify and unlock the opportunities of clients’ strategic and / or key accounts by transforming the way they are ‘farmed’ – managed, grown and harvested – over the short, medium and long-term. DemandFarm facilitates mining of key accounts within Salesforce – providing strategic / key account management professionals with a consolidated view in real-time, giving valuable intelligence on connections and processes to navigate complex selling situations with ease.

DemandFarm as an AppExchange Partner

As a sales enablement tool, DemandFarm invariably complements any CRM tool. In such a scenario, it was a no-brainer to use the Salesforce.com platform to build the App for AppExchange in 2013. Being the unique enterprise application platform that Salesforce is, their helpful team worked with us closely to enable us to develop the App keeping in mind the technical & security review. And voila! DemandFarm was live on AppExchange July 2014.

AppExchange’s innovative platform’s positive impact on DemandFarm’s business and customers

AppExchange facilitates DemandFarm’s customers to take test drives, leave reviews and generate leads through the App, which helps build a successful company. The ability to build the App in a short span of time and make it available to Salesforce.com customers without any need for integration is the main attraction. DemandFarm manages to generate an average of 10 qualified leads per month through AppExchange and that too without making any additional marketing efforts.

DemandFarm grew on AppExchange and its future plans

DemandFarm, at present, functions as a salesforce key account management software, which helps strategic/ key account managers to plan, manage and grow their customer / client account management already existing on the Salesforce1 Mobile App, making it easier to use. The App also allows for analytics to provide insights. Salesforce key account management was never this easy.

For the future, DemandFarm is planning to start using the lighting platform, bootstrap and angular on the AppExchange to make DemandFarm a full-service multifaceted suite for our customers.
